José María Sánchez García 2010/2017
José María Sánchez García was born in Don Benito (Badajoz) in 1975. He graduated from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) in 2002, and in 2016 was awarded a Doctorate in Architecture by the ETSAM for his thesis entitled, 'The Bath Case'. In 2006 he opened his studio in Madrid, which has designed several winning projects for public architecture competitions. He is Associate Professor of Design at the Madrid School of Archi - tecture, Visiting Professor at the Academy of Architecture in Men drisio (Switzerland), and Visiting Professor at the ETH University in Zurich. His work has received prizes in Spain and abroad, and has been displayed in many exhibitions.

Alfredo Payá 2010/2017
Alfredo Payá Benedito was born in Alicante in 1961. He graduated from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) in 1988, and in 2005 was awarded a Doctorate in Architecture by the ETSAM for his thesis entitled ‘The single space: boxes, artefacts, platforms'. In 1988 he opened a studio in Alicante and in early 2006, he founded his current office, noname 29. He has combined his professional practice with teaching work from the outset. He has taught architectural design at several tertiary institutions: Valencia School of Architecture from 1990 to 2000, Alicante School of Architecture from 2000 to 2006, U.I.C. in 2008-2009, and Washington University in Saint Louis, USA, in 2011 and 2013-2015. Since 2001, he has been a visiting professor and collaborator on several Master courses at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre. Since 1988, he has worked regularly with several European and North American universities. He has won many competitions in Spain and abroad, and his work has been published in various national and international media and exhibited in numerous exhibitions.

Toni Gironés 2003/2017
Toni Gironés was born in Badalona (Barcelona) in 1965. He graduated from the Vallés School of Architecture in 1992, and in 2016 was awarded a Doctorate in Architecture by the UPC for his thesis entitled, ‘Spontaneous architectures, reflections on constants in architecture: the Cape Creus peninsula, a topography in time'. In 1992 he opened his studio in Badalona. Lecturer in Design at the ETSA Vallés (1993-05). Head of studies, lecturer and coordinator of the 1st year Architectural Design course at the Reus School of Architecture, URV (2005-17). Nominated for the Francesco Borromini International Prize in 2001 and the Swiss Architectural Award in 2014, his work has been exhibited on several occasions, including an exhibition at the Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel (2013) and three participations in the Venice Biennale between 2014 and 2016. In 2015, two of his works were nominated for the Mies Van der Rohe European Prize for Architecture.
